Dr. Danyluk and Dr. Chamberland have worked very hard over the years to open our new location on 2nd Ave here in Sudbury. While medicine is the cornerstone of our practice, our other mission is to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience that will create a warm and lasting impression on pet and parent alike.

How do we deliver that one-of-a-kind experience?? It starts the day of your pet’s first visit to our hospital. Whether it is nutritional counseling, vaccine or deworming protocols, wellness testing, client education, pain management or dental care, our aim is to keep your pet healthy, happy and always as comfortable as possible.

From nose to tail, whatever the issue or concern may be, our care team will not only explain every detail in a language you can understand but will also include you as an informed treatment partner to collaborate in decision-making with our veterinarians.

And it doesn’t end there! We believe comprehensive care does not end when the appointment does but is ongoing. Our care team’s close follow-up will provide the answers to any of your questions and set your mind at ease.

Whether this is through our commitment to continuing education where we send team members to facilities throughout North America to learn from specialists in their field, or in our use of our cutting-edge laser surgery and therapeutic systems, Barrydowne Animal Hospital ensures high-quality technology and expertise are standard in every pet and client experience.

For example, our therapeutic laser is excellent for alleviating the pain associated with arthritis, soft tissue injuries, and skin conditions and also promotes the healing of these issues. Our innovative laser therapy program has become very popular with our older, arthritic dogs.

Our digital radiographs and digital dental x-rays, allow us to have instant results and avoid toxic chemicals associated with traditional x-rays. This technology is beneficial to both pets and the environment. These radiographs are accessible to our computer system including our exam room laptops, and can also be sent over the internet to specialists for immediate consultation if necessary. We have an up-to-date in-house laboratory, which enables us to perform diagnostic blood work, same-day pre-anesthetic blood work, diagnose parasite problems, perform cytology on lumps and skin problems to achieve a diagnosis, as well as perform urine evaluations. Our goal with all problems is to have a prompt diagnosis, so that we can start a proper treatment plan. Your pet’s comfort is of the utmost importance to us so we will use medications, laser surgery and laser therapy as part of our routine treatment plans to keep your pet as comfortable as possible.

We know things don’t always happen according to schedule and feel it is important that we are here just in case. To make things easier for our busy clients, you may book an appointment online at any time, as long as we have two business days notice prior to the appointment time you choose.

Our team is made up of two veterinarians, an office manager, 4 veterinary technicians and one receptionist who work together to care for your dogs and cats.
